Hot Days and Muggy Nights
I must confess that this was not at all expected. Clean sheets, fluffy pillows, wake up call at 6am, no, sorry, there’s no chocolate mints on the bed. I’m awake, but where am I? Nope, not in a hotel room any longer, and definitely not in first class either. No, that was last week…lucky last week. This week I’m in coach with no cushions and really really fat people. Is it just me or did these seats get smaller? Maybe my ass just go bigger. That must be it. All that processed foods and dinners after 8. I told myself no carbs after 8 but how the fuck am I suppose to do that when I never leave the office before 7.
I’m having a hard time adjusting back to being on the road and I’m sorry for ignoring you. You understand, new project, new city, it takes a toll. I have been home and spoiled for the last 7 months. This city is different. For a city that’s suppose to be the 4th largest in the country, the nights are surprisingly quiet. But the week passes by quickly and soon I am back again.
There’s a huge backlog to go through so here I go…

So the beach was pretty great until a cold front moved in. Then, things got awesome. Fog instantly formed and started rolling across the water. People started running away, as if the world was ending. The temp dropped at least 10 degrees within minutes. I suspect that if the world was ending, it would look something like this.
